Tucson: Downtown: Parking

It is easier to park Downtown Tucson

Downtown Tucson parking is changing

Even with all of the surrounding construction and road blocks, parking has been made easier with the addition of several new parking lots and large garages.

Downtown Tucson has 14,000 parking spaces, 1,000 parking meters and eigth parking garages available to the public. Parking is available hourly, monthly and 24 hours.

More parking is planned to be added with the development of new hotels and shopping in the district.

Free downtown parking

The participating downtown parking garages include:

  • Pennington St. Parking Garage, 110 E. Pennington St.
  • The Main Library, 101 N. Stone Ave.

New Year's Day also begins an increase in parking tickets at expired meters. That fee increases from $28 to $62.
