Information about Tucson International Airport (TIA)
Tucson Airport Authority announced a new interactive air service map is now available on the Tucson International Airport websites.
The scalable map includes all of the nonstop destinations from Tucson as well as showing all other domestic and many international destinations. Clicking on any destination opens a dialogue box that lists all service to that destination - nonstop as well as connections - and the carriers providing service.
There is a link at the bottom of the dialogue box to a QuikTrip timetable and convenient links to airfare search engines. There is also a search box where visitors can enter any destination.
The mapping service and QuikTrip timetable leverage one of the airline industry’s leading schedule databases containing over 900 airlines and 99% of all schedules in the world with 86% of the schedules updated at least weekly.
The Flight Mapping Service, a product of Innovata, uses the latest flash technology and displays airline and airport route networks and flight routings on a map that is fully integrated with a timetable display of all current schedules for the airlines serving the airport mapped. The mapping displays are automatically updated and maintained by linking airlines and airports.
