Scottsdale, Arizona - Landmark Aviation: ARIZONA AIRCRAFT EXPO Featuring Today’s Most Advanced Aircraft at One Location. Arizona’s leading aircraft dealers are working together to create the 2nd Annual Arizona Aircraft Expo where the latest models of general aviation aircraft will be on display at one venue.  Three separate events are scheduled to take place over the remainder of the year where prospective buyers can see the newest aircraft from Cessna, Cirrus, Diamond, Hawker Beechcraft, Mooney and Piper.  These free events will also provide the opportunity to speak with representatives from NationAir Insurance, Aero Credit Corp., Aviation Tax Consultants, and Airport Property Specialists on the details of aircraft ownership. Vail: Rapunzel. Live Theatre Workshop and the Empire High School Theatre Tech Department bring you a rockin’ version of Rapunzel. 8:00 pm. This is the classic story of a princess locked in the highest tower is updated in this new musical and interactive adaptation. Rapunzel is locked in a high tower by an evil sorceress and told that she is a danger to everyone. The only way anyone can enter or exit the tower is by climbing Rapunzel’s long flowing hair. A prince, who wants to form a rock band, hears Rapunzel’s beautiful voice and knows that she would be a perfect lead singer. Can the prince save Rapunzel from the evils of the sorceress and start a cool rock band? See this interactive musical and find out. Drawing results for AZ spring hunts released

Tags still remain for many hunts; available beginning Nov. 29

The Arizona Game and Fish Department today announced the drawing results for the 2011 spring hunts for turkey, javelina, buffalo and bear.

The more than 30,000 applicants can obtain results at www.azgfd.gov/draw or by calling (602) 942-3000 (option 2). Applicants will need to enter their Department I.D. number (typically a Social Security number) and their date of birth.

Game and Fish officials said that hunt permit-tags will be mailed out to successful applicants no later than Dec. 3, 2010. Unsuccessful or rejected applicants will have their refund, less application fees, mailed out by Nov. 26, 2010 to applicant “A.”

Leftover hunt permit-tags can be obtained two ways. Beginning Monday, Nov. 29 at 8 a.m. (MST) Game and Fish will accept applications by mail only in the same way as the regular drawing process. Starting on Monday, Dec. 6 at 8 a.m. (MST), leftover tags are also available for purchase in person from any of the seven Arizona Game and Fish Department offices. A list of office locations is available at www.azgfd.gov/offices.

Governor Brewer Reminds Travelers of Passport Requirement

PHOENIX – Arizona Governor Jan Brewer reminds all U.S. and Canadian citizens will be required to present a passport or another WHTI compliant document to enter and re-enter the United States by land or sea from Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and Bermuda.

U.S. citizens returning home from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean or Bermuda, by land or sea, will be required to present one of the following travel documents: A passport issued by the U.S. Government, a passport card (PassCard), a valid trusted traveler program card (FAST, NEXUS, or SENTRI) or a Military ID with official travel orders. U.S. citizen children under the age of 16 will be able to present the original or copy of their birth certificate, or other proof of U.S. citizenship such as a naturalization certificate or citizenship card.

Team In Training Kicks Off Its Winter Season

If completing a marathon, triathlon or cycling race is on your to-do list, but you don’t know how to reach the finish line, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training® (TNT) program can help get you there.  There is no better time than the present to join.  TNT kicks off its winter season training program on Wednesday, July 7th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a warm reception at The Lodge on the Desert.
 
TNT coaches, captains and alumni from previous seasons will share exciting details about the winter season events and answer any questions regarding the entire program. Guests will be able to enjoy delicious appetizers and beverages along with an opportunity to win some incredible raffle prizes.
 
“Team In Training helps participants take on an athletic challenge they might never imagine accomplishing on their own while giving them the opportunity to help other people,” said Louanne Clark, Campaign Manager. “We are thrilled to kick off our winter season while sharing the incredible Mission of the Society as well as programs we offer to patients and their families.”
