EXHIBIT HIGHLIGHTS TRADITION OF HOPI QUILTING

"Quilting from the Hopi Mesas:  Stitched Traditions from an Ancient Community", an exhibit highlighting the  history of quilt making among the Hopi, a Native American tribe of northern Arizona, will be held from 9 am to 5 pm daily through September 1998. About 35 antique and contemporary quilts  will be dislplayed along with archival photographs and profiles of Hopi quilters. For more information, please call the museum at (520) 774-5213.
