Black Thursday Thanksgiving

Black Thursday, on Thanksgiving Day November 27, 2014, is the new start date of the holiday shopping season.

Most major department and discount stores - Walmart, Target, K-Mart and Sears- plan to beat Black Friday by opening their doors a day earlier when most stores are usually closed on Thanksgiving.

Shopping online Thanksgiving Day, called with Black Thursday or Cyber Thursday, is more convenient- no crowds, no lines, no driving, a much larger selection, online only discounts and all day to shop dozens of stores from your home or mobile. Online catalogs will also have a more comprehensive selection of products.

After Thanksgiving sales at midnight is another new sales event called Black Friday Midnight. In many cases, early bargains have already started online- without standing in line.
