Fun Fall Festivals in Cochise County, AZ

The small communities sprinkled throughout Cochise County celebrate events in uniquely colorful ways that reflect the heritage and energy of the southeastern Arizona. Blues, Cowboys, Cool Cars, the Arts, and Wine all blend together for a great mix of weekend getaways.

September 11-13, 2015
11th Annual Bisbee Blues Festival
Friday, Sept. 11 – at Bisbee Royale Main Stage
Saturday, Sept. 12pm-10pm – Main Event at City Park
Sunday, Sept. 10am-3pm – 2nd Annual Blues Village will also take place at Central School Project

Every fourth Saturday of the month Tombstone stays open a little later for this wonderful event. There will be raffles, gunfights and many other fun activities.

64th Annual Rex Allen Days – Willcox
Oct. 1-4
Location: Willcox, AZ
Rex Allen Days celebrates Arizona’s most famous singing Cowboy in four days of fun. The weekend starts out with the Annual Cowboy Hall of Fame Banquet on Thursday night. Friday has a Rodeo Queen Competition and lots of entertainment. Saturday starts with a parade and the pro rodeo runs Saturday and Sunday.

44th Annual Art in the Park – Sierra Vista

Location: Veterans Memorial Park – 3105 E. Fry Blvd., Sierra Vista, AZ 85635
Art in the Park, Sierra Vista is coming up on its 43rd year. Come and celebrate the longest running arts and crafts festival in S.E. Arizona. Over 200 vendors selling original handmade items and art. Be sure to come out for great food, fun and creative craftsmanship. Hours: Saturday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

28th Annual Cars in the Park – Sierra Vista

Cochise County Cycling Classic – Douglas

Location: Cochise County Fairgrounds – 3677 N. Leslie Canyon Rd., Douglas, AZ 85607
Cyclists of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to ride the perimeter of Cochise County in 165, 95, 47 or 27-mile events with the start/finish located at the Cochise County Fairgrounds in Douglas, AZ. This fundraising event will benefit DARC (Douglas Association of Retarded Citizens). The event is expected to challenge as many as 400 cyclists.

Butterfield Overland Stage Days & Rodeo – Benson

This year will be the Car Show, Motorcycle Show, Antique Tractor Show, Pony Express, Antique Tractor Pulls, and Antique Engine Display, so there will be quite a bit going on at the park. The event is from 10a.m. (after the parade) until 2 p.m. The Rodeo starts at 3. Parade theme this year is “Everyday Heros”. Hope to see everyone out and about for the whole day of fun!

41st Annual Huachuca Gem, Mineral, and Jewelry Show – Sierra Vista

Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra Fall Concert

25th Annual Bisbee 1000 The Great Stair Climb

The most unique physical fitness challenge (or friendly fitness walk) in the USA! Bisbee 1000 The Great Stair Climb is the only outdoor stair climb in the U.S. and is arguably one of the most unusual and challenging events in the world. The 4.5-mile course features nine staircases (over 1000 total steps) connected by winding roads, with a total course elevation gain/loss of ~1175 ft. While enjoying the challenge, runners and walkers alike see some of the most scenic parts of Old Bisbee.

86th Annual Helldorado Days – Tombstone

What started out as the town’s 50th anniversary celebration in 1929 has turned into one of our oldest traditions. Come join in on the fun at the 86th Annual Helldorado Days. Activities include: Reenactments, street entertainment, fashion shows, live music, beard contest and a parade on Sunday.

Willcox Wine Country Festival

33rd Annual Bisbee Home Tour

Planning is underway for the 33rd Annual Bisbee Home Tour, entitled “Hidden Treasures”, which will take place on the Friday and Saturday before Thanksgiving. We have an incredible variety of homes and public buildings planned for this year’s tour – just a sampling of the architectural splendor that is Old Bisbee.
