Cool Summer Nights at AZ-Sonora Desert Museum

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum’s popular summer program, Cool Summer Nights, starts on May 21, 2016 this year, and runs every Saturday night through September 2 from 5:00 – 10:00 pm. Each night has a special theme, such as Insect Insanity and Astronomy Night, with special kid’s activities at each. This is free with regular museum admission; members are free.

9 TUCSON: Cool Summer Nights at the Desert Museum: Volcanoes & Vaquitas – Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum – Two important subjects are highlighted this evening, volcanoes and vaquitas, which are a rare species of porpoise endemic to the northern part of the Gulf of California and now critically endangered and in imminent danger of extinction.
