The wines are produced in the classic tradition and aged in fine European wood, with the finished project that reflects the subtle grace of Arizona terrior. All of the grapes are grown in Southern Arizona, in the Sonoita AVA, Kansas Settlement and Bowie and the reds are still hand-harvested, sorted and foot-stomped. The Village of Elgin Winery accents small lot red, white and rosé wines ranging from single varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese to traditional blends. The winery is home to the renowned Tombstone Red Tombstone Gunslinger and two whites, Tombstone Rain and Tombstone Showdown. Located 35-miles southeast of Tucson in Elgin, The Village of Elgin Winery is open everyday 10am-4pm and is part of The Sonoita American Viticultural Area (AVA) and Sonoita Wine Country.
