Get Fit! At Children’s Museum Tucson

Children’s Museum Tucson invites kids and their families to get out and get active at the fifth annual Let’s Get Fit! Health & Wellness fair. The fair is from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at the museum at 200 S. Sixth Ave. in Downtown Tucson. Activities will take place inside the museum, in the courtyard and on the lawn. Visitors can get FREE ADMISSION to the museum until 5 p.m.
Families and children of all ages can participate in hands-on activities encouraging a healthy lifestyle and parents have the opportunity to learn about health resources available in our community. Scheduled activities include CPR training, rock climbing wall, child identification, soccer targets, double-dutch jump roping demonstrations, healthy eating tips, exercise stations , therapy dogs and a hula-hoop station
Participating guest organizations for Let’s Get Fit! include Arizona Masons CHIP, Cardiology Outreach Organization, CareMore Health Plan, Child and Family Resources, El Rio Health Center, Every Kids Dentist and Orthodontics, Grow 2B Fit, Health Choice Arizona, Healthy Kids Kampus Dentistry, Pet Partners of Southern Arizona , Pima County Health Department, Satori School, Stonehedge Tower Rock Climbing, Tucson Twist-its and the TUSD Magnet Program, University of Arizona Biomedical Engineering, University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center/REACT Group and University Family Care.
