Green Fields Presents Annual Star Party and Food Truck Roundup
January 13, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm UTC+0
Telescopes, astronomers and food trucks are the focus of the fourth annual Star Party and Food Truck Roundup on Jan. 13 at Green Fields K-12 School in northwest Tucson.
This astronomical adventure is open to the public from 6 to 8 p.m. on the grounds of the historic 22-acre campus at 6000 N. Camino de la Tierra, near Shannon and Orange Grove.
Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association will set up three large telescopes on the grassy quad and provide astronomers to help children and adults find the star attractions. Whether the weather is clear or cloudy, the program will go on. Food trucks will offer an eclectic range of snacks and supper for sale.
