LOOKING FOR ANOTHER REASON TO WEAR THAT HALLOWEEN COSTUME?

Stretch those dollars and your fun at the TCC costume contest!

Halloween may be just around the corner, but we know it’s just a dry run for the main event: Tucson Comic-Con’s 4th Annual Costume Contest! This event is the largest of its kind in the southwest and boasts a host of prizes donated by businesses throughout community. You might take home a statue, toys, and tickets to the zoo, or even a coveted TCC trophy. Imagine having a chunk of nerd cred sitting on your shelf for all to admire.

But wait, what if you’re thinking, “I’ve never been in a contest, I could never compete against the pro’s.” Relax friend, we’ve got you covered with several different levels of entry! The categories are NOVICE, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED, and GROUP. YOUTH (15 and under) get an entire contest to themselves. So many chances to win!

But the contestants can’t have all the fun! Even if you don’t compete, you should wear your costume to the show because our host will be roaming the crowd and picking his favorite! REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Get your creative juices flowing, and be prepared to strut your stuff at Tucson Comic-Con.

The Youth Costume Contest (for participants aged 15 and under) will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, November 3rd

The contest starts at 7:00PM in the LEO RICH THEATER on the Tucson Convention Center Campus. This is a ticketed event.

Tucson Comic-Con, founded in 2008, began as a single day event attended by 500 fans. Since then attendance has steadily grown to 14,000 fans in 2016. The 11th annual Tucson Comic-Con takes place on November 2-4 at the Tucson Convention Center.
