"The Honeymooners," with Jackie Gleason, started as a series of sketches, and later became a award-winning CBS sitcom still shown in syndication today.
While "The Honeymoonerds" sitcom is still copyrighted, some episodes have long been public domain, since it's production company collapsed in 1956, and the Kinescope Recordings were dumped into Upper New York Bay.
