Seal Earns Top Grammy Nod

BURBANK, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/14/2004 -- Internationally renowned vocalist, songwriter and recording artist Seal has garnered a key nomination in the recently announced 2004 Grammy Awards, being named in the prestigious Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Love's Divine," a standout track from his acclaimed Warner Bros. Records release, "Seal IV."

Seal, who recently completed an extensive North American tour, is certainly no stranger to Grammy voters. His breakthrough 1995 hit "Kiss From A Rose" won Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. Over the course of his brilliant career, he has earned a global following with such era-defining hits as "Crazy" and "Prayer For The Dying," selling fifteen million albums in the process.

Produced by longtime collaborator Trevor Horn, "Love's Divine" marks a new creative dimension for the artist. "It's a catalyst for something fresh and unexpected," Seal remarked, "and at the same time sets a new standard for me."

His latest release, "Seal Best: 1991-2004," is a fourteen-track collection of his greatest hits available in three separate formats. It will be available as a single Best Of disc, or a special double CD collection, which includes the single version along with newly recorded acoustic renditions. There will also be a DVDA version that highlights 5.1 Surround mixes of all the music as well as ten groundbreaking Seal videos.

The 47th Annual Grammy Awards will air live February 13 on CBS in Los Angeles.
