John Nolan, the former singer of Taking Back Sunday was rumored to have slept with the Jesse Lacey's girlfriend. Jesse Lacey was the former bassist of Taking Back Sunday and moved on to form the band, Brand New. Brand New's album Your Favorite Weapon is highlighted by the song "Seventy Times Seven" directed towards John Nolan's deceitful actions.

Taking Back Sunday released "There's No 'I' in Team" from the Tell All Your Friends album in response to Brand New's song.
