April 23, 1997 marked the 32nd annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) awards broadcast live from Hollywood, California. Hosted by George Strait, Crystal Bernard and Jeff Foxworthy, the three hour awards show boasted performances by many of today's top country music stars.
