CMT and Grammy® Award-winning country superstar Jennifer Nettles will soon rule the road on the “CMT Presents Jennifer Nettles with 2016 Next Women of Country Tour” with a stop at the Valley’s Celebrity Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016.

The lead vocalist for international duel Sugarland Jennifer Nettles has become one of the most admired singer-songwriters in music today. She’s gearing up for the January release of her debut single on Big Machine Records. She won five ASCAP awards for her songwriting abilities and received a Grammy® Award, ACM Award and CMA Award for penning the emotionally charged #1 PLATINUM hit “Stay.” Nettles has racked up over 22 million in worldwide record sales since exploding onto the music scene in 2004, amassing eight #1 hits and countless accolades and awards. Nettles will play Dolly Parton's Mother in the upcoming NBC-TV movie 'Coat of Many Colors’ opposite Ricky Schroeder.

Brandy Clark won the 2014 CMA Song of the Year Award for co-writing Kacey Musgraves' hit “Follow Your Arrow,” and was also voted the 2014 Music Row Breakthrough Artist of the Year. She was nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2015: the all-genre Best New Artist and Best Country Album for her debut album 12 Stories, which was released in 2013. The critically-acclaimed album was named the best album of 2013 in any genre by New York Magazine and among the top five country albums of the year by Rolling Stone, among many other honors. Clark, one of the few openly gay artists in Nashville, will release a new album on Warner Brothers Records in 2016.
CMT’s Next Women of Country tour, which will also feature special guests Lindsay Ell and Tara Thompson, seeks to give more attention and airplay to female country artists.
