The Grinch is visiting Dallas this holiday season and is a must see!
This delightful tale retells the story about discovering the simple joys of Christmas, The story of the Grinch who sneaks down to Whoville to stop Christmas from coming has many of the charms it always did.
There are two famous unforgettable songs “Welcome Christmas” and “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”
No holiday festivities could be complete without the Grinch! All of us grew up watching this beloved animated 1966 classic. The stage version brings the book alive...and then some.
The story is told through the eyes of Max, the Grinch’s dog, who now is old and gray and talking about a Christmas from long ago (played by Seth Bazacas). He introduces the Whos, all looking like they just stepped right out of the book.
The real delight and motive to see the show is for the Grinch, (played by Stefan Karl) He is a zestful and magnificent performer.
His energy and audience interaction is triumphant and his magic moves the play along and just like the book he is ever so determined to stop Christmas. One of the show stoppers is when he performs “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch.
However, the main message from Dr. Seuss remains evident! The loving exchange between Cindy Lou-Who and the Grinch would make anyone’s heart grow 3 xs bigger.
Their combination and love for each other makes the play a heartwarming tale for families all over North Texas to enjoy the magic of the season.
