Six Flags America Announces Buy-One Get-One Free Offer

Better Entertainment, Better Service, Better Value and Close to Home

As the price of food, gasoline and airline tickets continue to rise, Six Flags America is announcing a price-lowering offer for its unique brand of thrilling family fun. Effective immediately, guests purchasing tickets online at the park's website can buy one regularly priced park admission ticket at $49.99 and get a second one FREE. Simply log onto sixflags.com, purchase and print tickets, then seize the opportunity to "get away from it all" -- including high prices. In addition, the park is reducing the price of a kids ticket (48" and under) by $10 to $24.99 online and at the main gate.

"While families across America are feeling a strain on their wallets, they still want to have fun and spend time together this summer," said Chris Haenn, Six Flags America park president. "We're providing an award-winning entertainment option at an unbeatable value that's close to home."

This season, Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor are proud to introduce Tony Hawk's Halfpipe, an edgy water slide named for its resemblance to a skateboarding halfpipe. Riders will experience zero gravity on this first-ever Tony Hawk inspired waterslide. This thrilling new addition joins Hurricane Harbor's 38 other rides and attractions, two interactive children's sections and one of the largest wave pools in the U.S.
Six Flags America is also home to 8 world-class roller coasters including Superman - Ride of Steel with an incredible 20-story first drop and the soaring Batman's Batwing.

The return of the immensely popular Starburst(R) Thursday Night Concert Series will be headlined by some of the hottest popular music acts in the industry including Aly and AJ, Mario and Flo Rida. Other special events this summer include a variety of additional concerts such as Boyz II Men, Craig Morgan for Country Music Day, Praise in the Park Gospelfest and Festival Latino. All concerts are free with park admission.
