This is a non-profit art program that serves as outreach to the Tucson community while providing hands on experience for pre-service art educators before they graduate. Classes are held at the University of Arizona campus on Saturday mornings beginning February 28th and will conclude with a reception at the Union Gallery on May 2, 2009. The registration deadline is February 14th, and the cost of $90 includes all supplies and a t-shirt. Partial scholarships are available. This is a great opportunity for students to explore art making with different mediums and instruction that go beyond what is typically offered in public schools.
