There is both a Fall and Winter version of the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Shows.
Most of the gem, jewelry and mineral shows around Tucson are free to the public and hours may vary. Some gem shows are restricted to wholesale dealers only. Newly added show dates, displays an events for both shows are added as they become available.
Tucson Fall 2011 Events: August September
The fall 2011 Tucson Gem Shows are held from September 8-11 throughout Tucson, AZ. Shows are wholesales and open to the public.

September 8-11, 2011: A Bead Carnival, 3301 E. Pennsylvania St. (Tucson Southside. Cross Streets: S. Palo Verde & Michigan) 877-696-9490. The September 2011 A Bead Carnival (formerly ABC East/A Bead Circus) bead show will be held September 8th to 11th inside the spacious showroom at 3301 E. Pennsylvania (NWC Randolph and Pennsylvania) in the heart of Tucson's gem shows on the Palo Verde corridor. Their showroom is open to the public for retail sales and accommodates wholesale buyers with credentials. There are deals everywhere you look!! Betsy Beader bead stringing materials and tools are available, semi-precious beads, vintage German beads and buttons, vintage Swarovski crystal, beads by the strand, and beads by the kilo. There are single beads, beads from China, India, Czech, and all over the world! Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
September 9-11, 2011: Best Bead Show (Used to be Crystal Myths INC) held at Kino Veterans Memorial Community Center 2805 E Ajo Way (Tucson southside. Cross Streets: Ajo Way & Forgeus Ave.) 610-909-2674. This show is open to the public September 9th to 11th. While this show is open to the public, many if not all, exhibitors will conduct wholesale transactions with you. The following conditions must be met: (a) the exhibitor is willing to make a wholesale transaction- some (few) vendors, mostly artisans, do not carry inventory for such transactions, (b) you have proper credentials with you (listed above), and (b) your purchase meets their minimum requirement for such a transaction (each exhibitor sets their own minimum). If you are a wholesale buyer, please bring proper credentials with you (i.e. tax resale license and business cards). If ALL conditions are NOT met, THE EXHIBITOR MAY NOT process the sale as a wholesale transaction as it will violate show policy and/or state/federal laws. Please be respectful of this and do not ask the exhibitor to risk expulsion or heavy fines for the purpose of a sale, as this may be considered criminal solicitation. The winter 2012 Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase are held from January 28 through February 12, 2012 for both wholesale dealers and the public.
The showcase is recognized as the premier event of its kind in the world.
Every winter, dozens of shows at various locations and venues throughout metropolitan Tucson make up Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase.
Centerpieces of the showcase include the American Gem Trade Association's (AGTA) wholesale-only AGTA GemFair Tucson, located at Tucson Convention Center, and the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society's (TGMS) open-to-the-public show (the one that started it all in 1955), located at Tucson Convention Center Arena.
The main Tucson Gem, Fossil and Mineral Show, sponsored by the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society (TGMS), is held at Tucson Convention Center Exhibition Hall and the Arena.

January 27-February 7, 2012: JOGS Tucson Show features the largest in the USA Amber Jewelry pavilion with manufacturers and designer coming from Poland, Lithuania, Russia. The largest in Tucson Southwester Jewelry Pavilion with over 100 booths.
