Tucson Symphony Orchestra releases new CD

The Tucson Symphony Orchestra has released a classical CD, "André Matheieu: Piano Concerto No. 4" with French pianist Alain Lefévre.

The CD, released on September 30, 2008, is the first recording of a long-lost concerto by French-Canadian composer André Mathieu.

The Tucson, Arizona based Tucson Symphony Orchestra, under George Hanson conductor, were surprised the CD became very popular among Canadian citizens who have been ordering it at unexpected speeds.

The CD was released in late September and became number one in Canada for Classical Music.
