Street Date: 2/1/05 (Rated: PG-13) Stan Ross (Bernie Mac) has been trading on his 3000 major league hits for years, parlaying the title Mr. 3000 into a sports bar and a larger-than-life ego. But on the eve of Stan’s induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame, his world comes crashing down when a fact check reveals that he’s still a few hits short he’s merely Mr. 2,997. In order to score his remaining three hits, the forty-seven year old Stan has to get back in shape and back to the big leagues. Stan’s hilarious trip back to the baseball diamond, however, turns out to be anything but easy. The DVD comes with a line-up of bonus features including outtakes, deleted and extended scenes, the movie extras’ journey through spring training, director audio commentary, and more.

This truly outstanding comedy about a bored businessman and the dance teacher who changes his life became a fan favorite upon its Theatrical release. But one night he catches a glimpse of a beautiful dance instructor (Jennifer Lopez) in the window of a shabby ball room dancing school. When finally the painfully shy and awkward man muscles up the nerve to sign up for dance lessons, he is assigned to an eccentric group class taught by an older woman. Nevertheless, the seemingly predictable man sticks with his new hobby hoping to catch the attention of the young beauty, while avoiding the ridicule of his co-workers and family. CAROLINA -- Street Date: 2/1/05 (Rated: PG-13) Julia Stiles, Academy Award® winner Shirley MacLaine and Alessandro Nivola star in an endearing story of a young woman (Stiles) trying to escape the eccentric ways of her wacky Southern family to meet the man of her dreams a nice, normal, available guy. Finding him appears easier said than done until she meets a handsome and debonair Englishman but complications hilariously arise when she introduces her perfect guy to her less-than perfect family. And that doesn’t even start to mention what her best friend Albert has to say about the situation. As funny and charming as “Sweet Home Alabama,” CAROLINA is a southern belle whom is sure to sweep you off your ever-loving feet.
