Silverjet, the British all-business-class airline providing a 'very sivilised' way to travel, is proud to celebrate today the first anniversary of its launch. In its first year of service, the airline has brought back the style, ease and excitement of flying that until now had been lost in the typically stressful air travel experience.
Silverjet has clearly revolutionized the industry by creating a commercial airline experience that offers amenities usually associated with flying in a private jet. With exclusive lounge and terminal facilities, the luxury to arrive at the airport as little as 30 minutes prior to departure, expedited security lines, and personalized end-to-end service, Silverjet ensures that air travel can and should be an effortless and enjoyable activity.
With ticket prices starting at just over $2,000 round trip on its twice daily service to London Luton, Silverjet's combined value with a level of service unmatched in the industry.
In the company's spirit to continually transform the air travel experience, Silverjet also announced today its intention to construct a state- of-the art new private lounge facility at Newark Liberty Airport. Set to open later this year, the private facility will be nearly triple in size of the current lounge, and will be the only commercial airline facility in the New York area that provides customers with an exclusive, curb-side entrance. Features will include valet parking and concierge service, a restaurant-style dining area offering pre-flight gourmet meals and much more.
Furthermore, Silverjet is proud to announce a new innovative partnership with Le Caprice, the critically-acclaimed London restaurant known worldwide for its delectable cuisine. The iconic brand now works with Silverjet to design its onboard menus as well as train the airline's cabin crew in plating and service, providing Silverjet passengers with a one-of-a-kind culinary experience in the air.

In 2007, Silverjet created a new class of travel by designing an experience that focuses on personalized service for the passenger. The success of Silverjet's first year in operation is evident from its milestones: the addition of a second daily service on its launch route from New York to London, the launch of a new daily service to Dubai and the quick success of its Silverjet Set loyalty program.
Each Silverjet flight features just 100 6'3'' award-winning flat bed seats, with minimal sound, lighting and interruptions to maximize passenger sleep time. The airline also provides each passenger with a personal in-flight entertainment system, featuring the latest in music, movies and television. Each seat comes equipped with an A/C power outlet to make any electronic needs in-flight as effortless as possible. Continually providing customers with a unique experience, all Silverjet flights feature a women's-only restroom facility, complete with plush purple walls, Hollywood-style vanity lighting and marble-like counter tops featuring a variety of amenity products to meet the needs of the female business traveler.

Silverjet's brand success in no way overshadows its financial strength during the past year. Since its first full month of operations in February 2007, the airline's passenger volumes have increased by more than 225 percent. Silverjet was the first scheduled airline to ever reach an 80 percent load factor within seven months of launch and forward bookings in both the US and UK continue to remain strong.
In addition, Silverjet raised an additional $45 million in November 2007 from existing and new investors. Currently, the airline's Directors anticipate that Silverjet will achieve its first month of profit in the current financial year, ending March 31, 2008.
