Target expands price matches

Target® is taking aggressive price cuts to reinforce its long-standing commitment to offering guests outstanding value and competitive prices.

With the growing practice of "showrooming," where customers go to the store to check out products but make their purchase online cheaper, Target will match online prices with companies like Amazon.com.

If a customer makes purchase from Target and then discovers the identical item for less in the following week Target circular or within seven days on Amazon.com, Wlmart.com, BestBuy.com or Toysrus.com, then Target will match that price.    

Target's Low Price Promise

Target is the budget-friendly solution for families that want this year's hottest toys at the absolute best prices. In addition to keeping to its long-standing commitment to providing guests with exceptional value, Target will match locally advertised prices on the toys it carries as well as other merchandise in the store.

Through Target's Low Price Promise, guests are assured they are getting the best price on all items this holiday season and all year round.

If Target does not offer the lowest price, Target stores nationwide will match locally advertised prices from competitors on identical single items (defined as the same brand and model number during the effective date of its ad, or within seven days of a prior purchase).

Target is a one-stop toy destination with unique toys for children of all ages:

Gift-givers will have a blast wrapping up some of the trendy hot toys of the season for younger kids, including Sing-a-ma-jigs, Bigfoot or Squinkies.

For Toy Story fans, Target exclusively offers the Toy Story 3 Andy's Toys Gift Pack, which features characters from the film, including Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullesye, Rex, Hamm and Alien.
