The Santa Cruz Fair & Rodeo Association celebrates 100 years in 2015! The Sonoita Fairgrounds is located 1/4 mile south of the Highway 82, Highway 83 junction in Sonoita, Arizona, 40 miles southeast of Tucson, Arizona with easy access from I-10. The Sonoita Fairgounds is privately owned collectively by the membership of the Santa Cruz County Fair & Rodeo Association (SCCFRA).

The Santa Cruz County Fair & Rodeo Association invites you to spend the weekend in cool Sonoita on May 2nd & 3rd, 2015 at the Sonoita Horse Races.Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing with wagering on site as well as off track simulcasts and betting from The Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs & Turf Paradise. Food vendors and merchandise on site. Enjoy the afternoon on Saturday for the Derby Hat Contest and traditional Mint Juleps. Come back Sunday for the Cinco de Mayo celebration and our signature margaritas!! Gates open at 10 A.M., daily post time is at 1 P.M. Admission is $10 for adults, children 12 and under free (Admission includes parking and program). Food, beverage and merchandise concessions on grounds. 100th Annual Sonoita Labor Day Rodeo held September 5-7, 2015. Over 700 entries & over $40,000 in cash & buckles awarded to the top contestants of the Southwest. Gates open daily at 10AM. Admission: $10 adults, $5 for kids ages 5-12, and little ones 4 and under get in free. Junior Rodeo begins at noon daily. Main Performance starts at 2PM. Steak fry and dance to follow the rodeo on Saturday and Sunday. Merchandise & Concessions on site Entry Info: All events are Central Entry except? team roping on Saturday and Sunday (Jackpot Format). Day permit can be bought to rope in Monday's sanctioned team roping for $25 (unless you are a local). You must enter through Central Entry on Monday, August 31, 2015. Incentive: 1.5 seconds off of first steer, .5 second off of the short round steer
Top 15 teams come back to the short round in perf.
