NeNe Leakes is back on TV after leaving “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
“Extra’s” Rachel Lindsay spoke with NeNe on the set of her BET+ reality series “College Hill: Celebrity Edition,” where she opened up on love after her husband Gregg lost his battle with cancer.
NeNe is now dating Nyonisela Sioh, but a lot of her happiness is from within. She said, “I can’t say he hasn’t helped me put a smile on my face… You have to be willing to be happy and you have to make a lot of changes within yourself.”
Nyonisela also makes an appearance on the show!
In “College Hill: Celebrity Edition,” celebrities like NeNe, Big Freedia, Slim Thug, Ray J, Stacey Dash, DreamDoll, India Love, and Lamar Odom live together and join the historically Black colleges and universities (HBCU) as Texas Southern University students.
She explained, “The one thing I was interested in, I went to an HBCU, I love Houston, so I said, ‘Let’s go back and really see what’s happening.’ I wasn’t super excited about moving into a house with a bunch of celebrities because I never lived with celebrities before, and I know celebrities are divas.”
As for what was more challenging — living in the home with everyone or going back to school — she answered, “Definitely going back to school… We are sitting in class with young college students, so they know everything. We don’t know anything.”
While she has left the “Housewives” franchise, NeNe is still in touch with some of the ladies. She dished, “I own a restaurant lounge in Atlanta. Drew [Sidora] doesn’t live far — she is always in there… Marlo [Hampton], I still communicate with her time to time.”
“College Hill: Celebrity Edition” is streaming now on BET+.

Chris Pratt is ready to take audiences on another thrill ride with his new Prime Video series “The Terminal List.”
Pratt hit the premiere to celebrate the new show, just days after celebrating his 43rdbirthday and first Father’s Day with baby girl Eloise.
“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers caught up with Chris on the red carpet, who shared, “I had a very special week altogether. My birthday often falls on Father’s Day so it’s really kind of a summer week to celebrate me… I kept it super low key. We had some meals at home, I got to cook, I cooked a rack of lamb one night and some steaks the next, it was very special.”
Pratt and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger just welcomed Eloise in May. He gushed over his daughter, “She’s perfect, she’s so gorgeous, she’s so chill, she sleeps a lot during the day. At night not so much, so I am working on some caffeine fumes right now, but she’s perfect.” Eloise is the latest to join the family’s brood, which also includes the couple’s daughter Lyla, 1, and Chris’ son Jack, 9, from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.
Based on the best-selling book… Chris plays a Navy Seal with major PTSD after his entire platoon is killed in an ambush in “The Terminal List.” The actor was joined by several real life vets at the premiere, and Chris told Jenn, “They truly are the greatest generation… it’s an honor to be around them and be with them, you want to spend more time with them and hear their stories… and show the love they deserve. Times have certainly changed and they are the greatest generation for what they did for this country.”
The eight-episode series also stars Chris’ brother in law Patrick Schwarzenegger. Jenn joked that he traded the role for babysitting duties. Chris smiling, saying, “Patrick, please do it please do it.” Getting serious, “So fun to have him on the show, he’s fantastic in it… He’s very vibrant and has a wonderful role.”
“The Terminal List” premieres July 1 on Prime Video.

Charlize Theron Debuts New Look
Charlize Theron Debuts New Look as She Talks Daughters, ‘Doctor Strange,’ and More
It was a big weekend for Charlize Theron as she held her 15th annual Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project block party.
“Extra’s” Terri Seymour caught up with Charlize, fresh off a plane from Rome with a new ‘do and jet black hair.
Theron joked, “I’m so happy to be here, but I’m going to be great after a cup of coffee.”
Charlize has been in Italy getting ready to film “The Old Guard 2,” the sequel to the hit Netflix action thriller.
Terri asked, “How is the body doing? Are you taking a beating? How is the back?”
Charlize answered, “There’s a reason I’m in a longsleeve shirt… We have a great team, and it’s really exciting to try and do something that is better than the last… We are a few days away from trying to actually shoot… We’ve all been waiting for this moment and COVID really pushed us back.”
The upcoming movie also stars “Kill Bill’s” Uma Thurman.
Theron said, “I think I’ve seen all the ‘Kill Bills’ a hundred times… I was, like, fanning out. I had to keep my sh*t together. Uma Thurman has no idea what a fan girl I am.”
Charlize also made a surprise superhero cameo in the “Doctor Strange” sequel with Benedict Cumberbatch.
She told Terri, “It is something that happened kind of fast. Before I knew it, I was in a superhero outfit on the set. I couldn’t believe it… I really like the Doctor Strange universe, I am really excited about the possibilities about where we can take it.”
She revealed her kids Jackson, 10, and August, 7, were in on the secret.
“I was like, ‘You can’t tell any of your friends.’ It was so top secret and they did really well. They managed to keep it a secret.”
Her daughters did not attend the event, though. She explained, “It was heartbreaking tonight because they are at a dance recital and I’m missing…” Seymour interjected, “Can I just say Charlize is a hardcore dance mom,” and Theron went on, “I’m gonna cry. It was so brutal. My little one was like, “It’s okay, Mom, it’s okay. So my mom is there taking videos.”
Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project works to launch HIV/AIDS prevention programs.
The children know how important their mom’s charity work is. Charlize said, “We go to South Africa… They kind of know what the work is… They love the experience… being in the environment where they are not the minority and they get to talk to other girls like them… I think it will be something that will stay with them for the rest of their lives… It will somehow impact them as human beings because I have moments where I’m really proud of them when I feel like they say something so small but it makes me realize that they’re seeing outside their bubble… I just want them to know the world is much bigger than all of what we have here.”
Terri asked, “What are you hoping to do in the next 15 years?”
Charlize said, “I think, ultimately, the dream is to not have to do this work. I don’t know how realistic that is but that’s the thing we aim for is to get enough of the advocacy out there… To really kind of support anything they need to be as good as they can be.”

The indie short, which is currently in post-production, was shot in the NY Metro area by writer/director Mariam Bakashvilli.
Additionally, Linda will be starring as Marigold in Writer/director Debbie Markowitz short indie drama film, “The Prof”, (along with Anthony Robert Grasso as “The Prof”). Linda is also Executive Producer for the project, which is currently in pre-production with shooting set for later in 2022.

Wednesday night, Jennifer Lopez stepped out in NYC for the premiere of her new documentary film “Halftime” at the Tribeca Film Festival!
“Extra’s” Tommy DiDario spoke with Lopez, who recently said that she was grateful to have a second chance at love. She stressed the importance of staying in the moment as she and fiancé Ben Affleck write their new chapter of life. She told Tommy, “I’m just excited to be living in the present right now. That’s my focus, be in the moment. Don’t miss it!”
Lopez also confessed that releasing the documentary is “nerve-racking.” She explained, “I’m anxious to see the movie. I’m nervous, I’m excited. I haven’t seen the finished product so I’m really looking forward to that, but it’s also a little nerve-wracking…It’s not like being in a movie…but I wouldn’t want to do it anywhere else but here in New York.”
She also spoke about thanking those who doubted her or hurt her during her recent MTV Awards speech. J.Lo smiled, saying, “It’s about the hardships that you have in life, it’s heartbreak, people who told you you couldn’t do certain things because of who you were and where you were from. The idea that you had to kinda overcome that…that was a big motivator for me. It was a sincere thank you.”
“I don’t think I would be me if it wasn’t for that or the people in my life who actually hurt me in some way,” Lopez emphasized. “I’m grateful for, that in the bible it says that you know be thankful for your trials and tribulations and I am.”Courtesy of “Extra”:

Jeff Bridges was looking happy and healthy after a life-threatening fight with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and a near-death battle with COVID-19.
“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers caught up with the star at the premiere of his new FX series “The Old Man,” where she asked, “Do you feel as good as you look?”
He laughed, telling her, “I feel pretty good. I hope I’m looking as good as I feel. I feel great.”
Opening up about his health, Bridges explained, “Had the cancer and the COVID together and throw the chemo in there that stripped all my immune system and that’s when the COVID hit me and that pretty much knocked me for a loop.”
Jenn told him, “I had no idea it was that bad,” and Jeff shared, “Oh, yeah. It was tough,” saying there were “five or six weeks there where it was whether I was going to make it or not.”
While chemotherapy made it tough for Jeff to fight off COVID, he says he caught the virus while at the medical facility. Jeff fought his way back, making it his goal to walk his youngest daughter Hayley down the wedding aisle.
He told Jenn, “That was terrific. You set little goals. And that was a big one… Got to do that without my oxygen.”
The star just celebrated his 45th wedding anniversary with wife Susan Geston. Lahmers wanted to know “What the secret sauce? Because you’re in Hollywood, that’s not average.”
Bridges told her, “It’s that little corny thing. Don’t get a divorce. That’s how you stay married and you take those bumps that you have in a relationship. It’s kind of like this illness. That’s a tough obstacle. But that’s where you get lessons where you can learn only in those places.”
Now, Jeff’s cancer is in remission and the 72-year-old is back in fine form in “The Old Man,” based on the best-selling thriller.
Jeff plays a former CIA operative forced out of hiding after an assassination attempt. Jenn pointed out, “You kicked COVID’s ass. You kicked cancer’s ass. Now, you’re kicking guys’ asses half your age in this series.”
Bridges replied, “There you go. I love doing fights and stuff in movies. We have great stunt coordinators.”
“The Old Man” premieres June 16 on FX.
