10th Annual Tucson Comic-Con

Tucson Comic-Con’s first celebrity guests scheduled to appear at the 10th Annual Tucson Comic-Con are Billy Dee Williams and Gates McFadden! Tucson Comic Con, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, takes place November 3 – 5, 2017.

November 3: 3-8pm
November 4: 10am-7pm
November 5: 10am-5pm

BILLY DEE WILLIAMS is best known for his legendary role as Lando Calrissian in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (1983). He also appeared in Tim Burton’s Batman (1989) as Harvey Dent and is an accomplished voice actor.

GATES McFADDEN is known by sci-fi fans the world over for her role as Chief Medical Officer Dr. Beverly Crusher in the hit TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994) and she has also starred in subsequent Star Trek films Generations (1994), Insurrection (1998) and Nemesis (2002).

Tucson Comic-Con announced the addition of two new guests scheduled to appear at the 10th Annual Tucson Comic-Con: Walter Jones and Karan Ashley from the hit 90’s television show, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. WALTER JONES is best known for his role as Zack the Black Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He is also an accomplished dancer, instructor and choreographer.
KARAN ASHLEY is an actress, singer, TV and radio host, reality star, writer and producer. She started her career in music as a child singer in the girl group KRUSH, but she is perhaps best known for her breakout role as Aisha the Yellow Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

MICHAEL WILNSLOW (Police Academy films, Gremlins, Spaceballs) will be joining Tucson Comic-Con as a special guest! Known as the “man of 10,000 sound effects”, Michael Winslow solidified himself as a pop culture icon when he played the hilariously mischievous Larvelle Jones in the Police Academy franchise. Michael’s unique, wacky brand of comedy alongside his unparalleled gift as a voicetramentalist is what makes him so well loved around the world. A respected comedian and actor of both television and film, Michael is also a staple in other realms of entertainment such as voiceovers and stand-up comedy. This versatility has enabled him to travel from country to country leaving audiences breathless from laughing and astonished by his superhuman sound making talent.
