www.patagoniafallfestival.org

The Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA) and the Sky Islands Tourism Association (SITA) are partnering to present the 32nd Annual Fall celebration of arts and culture, on October 9 & 10, 2021 at the Patagonia Town Park. After taking a year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sky Islands regional community is elated to welcome back festival attendees to the two-day event.

With a thirty plus year history of community outreach, this festival has been recognized as one of Arizona’s most well-attended rural community art gatherings, featuring fine artists, sculptors, weavers, potters, jewelry makers, crafters, live music, award-winning music, and food vendors from around the region.

REGIONAL TOURISM
The Sky Islands communities of Patagonia, Sonoita, and Elgin are also a great central location for day trips to Bisbee, Tombstone, Tubac, the wondrous Karchner Caverns, and Mexico. Spectacular mountain ranges soar above the desert floor, creating “Sky Islands,” which harbor tremendous biological and geographic diversity, rare in the US and much of the world.

With endless possibilities for your day or weekend local getaway, we invite the community to take part not just in the Artisan Market festivities but to visit and support the communities that surround you. For a list of possible activities, which include: Art & Culture, Birding, Biking & Hiking, Ecotourism, Parks & Lakes, Places to Eat, Shopping, Wellness as well as Wineries & Breweries, visit https://www.visitskyislands.com/attractions/

Started by the Town of Patagonia over 32 years ago, this truly homegrown, small-town celebration is designed to showcase extraordinary talent and artistry against the scenic backdrop of the Arizona mountains. The event attracts more than 15,000 visitors to Patagonia’s lovely tree-shaded park in the center of town over a festive weekend of art, music, and community. Patagonia is a tourist destination that makes for a great weekend trip to enjoy this scenic community, with plenty of artistic and creative flair on display.
The celebration will highlight tourism to the Sky Islands region and introduce programming to support the small businesses, wineries, and regional experiences that only Patagonia, Sonoita & Elgin can offer. A complete list of regional activations which will complement the festival over the weekend, will be announced on September 10, 2021. We encourage the community to visit the artisan market, but also to experience the local wineries, shops, outdoor spaces, and restaurants.
