Art Wine & Wheels Weekend in Ridgeland at Renaissance at Colony Park on April 5-7, 2019
Ridgeland, Miss. – It’s springtime’s big event in Ridgeland, Miss. April 5-7, 2019 with the annual Art Wine & Wheels Weekend. Over the past 11 years, this exciting weekend in Ridgeland has grown to include fine arts and wine festivals with live music and great food, a 5K race and a bicycle ride that brings in thousands from all over the U.S. and the world. Events take place at the Renaissance at Colony Park.
The Art – Ridgeland Fine Arts Festival
Sat., April 6 (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.) & Sun., April 7 (11 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
Almost 100 of America’s most talented artists converge on Ridgeland for this juried event that includes clay, drawing/pastels, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media 2D and 3D, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and wood. The free festival provides art enthusiasts and shoppers the opportunity to interact with the artists personally. This year’s feature artist is Leslie Emery from Sun Prairie, Wis. whose medium is mixed media 2D. 2018 Best of Show winner, sculptor Susan Clayton from Tallapoosa, Ga., will return for this year’s show. Festival activities include live music on two stages featuring local and regional musicians such as Blues great Jesse Robinson Sat. Bluegrass lovers will enjoy the Delta Mountain Boys performance, and the Epic Funk Brass Band will infuse funk, pop, jazz and Go-Go into a custom-made enhancement of second-line brass band traditions. Artisans from the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi will be on-hand demonstrating their various crafts and available at the Children’s Creative Craft Corner to help young artists create their own “make and take” piece of art. The Student Art Gallery will feature area high school students’ masterpieces.
Festival goers can enjoy sampling unique wines and beer while shopping at the Sante South Sampling Palate. Guests 21 and older can purchase a punch card for $20 at the Information Tents located throughout the festival grounds to present at kiosks. Food trucks will also be at the festival offering local cuisine.
Merchants at Renaissance at Colony Park will have ongoing weekend specials during the festival.
The Wine – Santé South Wine Festival
Sat., April 6 (VIP Tasting 6:30 p.m. | Grand Tasting 7:30 p.m.)
Santé South has grown into the largest wine and culinary extravaganza in Mississippi with over 120 exceptional wines and fine food samplings from more than 20 of Mississippi’s top restaurants. The Wheels – Cheers and Gears Bike Ride

Join outfitter Bicycle Revolution for a fun-filled weekend of cycling events that highlight Ridgeland’s nationally-recognized cycling routes.
