DockDogs Labor Day Weekend to Old Tucson

Labor Day Weekend Includes Diving Dogs Competition. Old Tucson is going to the dogs Labor Day Weekend! Join us as we say goodbye to the Dog Days of Summer Sept. 2-4. In addition to our regular entertainment, we’ll host DockDogs, an internationally renowned organization that presents canine diving competitions around the world. Local dog owners are encouraged to bring their dogs out for the amateur category. See how fast and high your dog will go! Kids 11 and younger get in free all weekend. Admission includes participation in the diving competition, which will be Saturday and Sunday.
Local dog-training organizations will present agility and sensory demonstrations. Pima Animal Care Center will be on site Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with dogs up for adoption, and $1 of every paid admission will go to PACC. The event also includes exhibitors and vendors. A limited number of vendor/exhibitor spaces are available. Cost is $25 per day. Email [email protected] for more information.
Old Tucson is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last admission at 4 p.m. Regular adult admission is $18.95, with discounts available for seniors, active military and Pima County residents.
