FUERZA REGIDA AT BMO STADIUM IN LOS ANGELES

July 15 @ 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm MST

FUERZA REGIDA WILL PERFORM AT THE ICONIC BMO STADIUM IN LOS ANGELES, A HISTORIC NIGHT FOR MORE THAN 20K FANS

In record time, the Californian band will get to present their live show in a stadium. In order to celebrate this and all of the group’s achievements, the city of Los Angeles officially declared February 28 as Fuerza Regida Day.

FUERZA REGIDA, the most notable Mexican urban music group of the moment, announced today the attainment of a great achievement in their career: for the first time, they will present their live show in a stadium, a concert produced by Live Nation and Rancho Humilde Entertainment, which will take place on Saturday, July 15, at the majestic BMO Stadium in the city of Los Angeles (previously known as Banc of California Stadium).

To announce this important date, the group held a press conference on Tuesday that took place precisely at BMO Stadium, where FUERZA REGIDA also celebrated more fantastic news: the City Council of the City of Los Angeles officially declared February 28 as Fuerza Regida Day, thus becoming the first Mexican urban music group to receive such a high distinction.

“As one of the West Coast’s revolutionary Urban Mexican bands, FUERZA REGIDA has amassed millions of devoted fans across the globe earning them unprecedented popularity on social media and digital streaming services, making them one of the hottest tickets today,” said LA City Councilmember Curren Price. “As they embark on their next concert, coming this summer to the BMO Stadium in District 9, the City of LA acknowledges their talent, heart and ability to connect with people of all walks of life. It is a great honor that we dedicate Feb. 28 to a group of individuals who stay grounded in their love for the community and uplifting historically marginalized people.”

Noteworthy collaborations with internationally renowned artists such as Snoop Dogg, another icon from Los Angeles, and compelling performances on various and major stages like the one they had at the Made In America festival last year in Philadelphia, emphasize the impact that FUERZA REGIDA is currently making in the urban music scene, becoming a favorite among an audience that is no longer exclusively Mexican-American.

Their concert at BMO Stadium will be the beginning of a new era in FUERZA REGIDA’s live performances, something for which they’ve been preparing since last year, when for the first time and at the hands ofLive Nation, they successfully conducted their first tour of 19 of the most notable arenas in the United States. Hans Schafer, Senior Vice President of Live Nation, stated: “Fuerza Regida’s presence has grown at a rapid pace, attracting fans from around the world,” said Hans Shafer, SVP of Global touring at Live Nation. “It’s amazing to see their talent recognized by such a diverse audience. We love working with them and are grateful to have played a part in their first arena tour and now in bringing them home for their first stadium show.”

During this Tuesday’s event, the record label Rancho Humilde and FUERZA REGIDA made a joint donation of $20,000 to benefit the organization Inclusive Action for the City, whose work is promoting the legalization of street vending, as it is the only possible livelihood for many families in the city. This action is added to many others that both the group and their label have undertaken in order to positively impact the community in different neighborhoods of the County of Los Angeles.

Inclusive Action for the City invited to the event a group of street vendors in order to highlight their action before the media. Regarding this contribution and the trade of street vending, the CEO of Rancho Humilde, Jimmy Humilde, stated: “Street vending should be recognized in the city as an honest trade. It is not only a source of job creation, but it’s also a sector that boosts consumption in the city. I understand their hardships and concern, because at one point it was there where I found my living and that of my family.”

Last year with their tour “DEL BARRIO HASTA AQUÍ,” FUERZA REGIDA became the Mexican urban music group that sold the most concert tickets—more than 150K—being the undeniable leader of the new musical phenomenon that many designate the future of Mexican music.

Of the tour’s 19 dates, they achieved 12 FULLY BOOKED CONCERTS in the cities of San Jose, Phoenix, New York, Hidalgo, Sugarland, Irving, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Fresno and Rosemont.
FUERZA REGIDA symbolizes like no other artist what has occurred in recent years with the Mexican urban music genre, a movement that began in the streets of working-class Latin neighborhoods in Los Angeles and that today has become one of the most important genres in Latin music in the United States. With their success, the band is paving the way for other artists in their community, who like them also grew up listening to rap, regional music, rock, and many other types of music. The kids of San Bernardino are carrying for the first time on a grand scale the culture of the streets.

“We’ve worked very hard to get to where we are and we’d like other artists in our community to be able to follow this same path.”
