La Fiesta de Guadalupe
Sunday, December 8, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm MST
DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun Museum is hosting our annual La Fiesta de Guadalupe on Sunday, December 8th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. We are located at 6300 N. Swan Road, Tucson, AZ 85718. This festival honors Mexico’s patron saint with music, dancing and performances including mariachi bands, folklorico dancers, and Yaqui Deer Dancers. Piñatas filled with treats are hoisted hourly for the kids while vendors offer regional food, southwestern fare and souvenirs. The event is FREE and open to the public. At 9:00 a.m. in the Mission in the Sun, Father Joseph Saba, celebrating the reopening of the mission after two years of extensive renovation, will say a mass. Space is limited.
The DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun Museum is nationally acclaimed and recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. This 10-acre compound was designed and built by Arizona artist Ted DeGrazia. The main gallery hosts several collections of DeGrazia original artwork, which depicts the history and the people of the Southwest.
