Lissie’s “Love Blows” Tour

Wednesday, April 25, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - Thursday, June 7, 2018 @ 8:00 pm MST

“Love Blows,” the new track from acclaimed artist Lissie debuts today—listen/share the song here: http://bit.ly/2GepKUc. The song appears on her highly anticipated fourth studio album, Castles, out on March 23. Castles can be pre-ordered here: https://lissie.lnk.to/Castles

Additionally, her latest single “Best Days” sits at #20 on the US AAA radio chart and the new music continues to receive critical praise—Independent proclaims, “[Lissie has] landed on perhaps the most progressive music of her career” while The Times calls it, “Lissie’s best album yet.” Relix furthers, “On Castles, Lissie continues to explore the more troubling aspects of human nature, offering another collection of confessional tunes that explore conflicting emotions and trying times. She channels the physical and emotional pain and longing that goes into relationships that are imploding, as well as those that only exist in the heart of the lover longing for connection.”

In support of Castles, Lissie confirms a run of headlining North American dates this summer—kicking off May 2 at Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom and making stops in New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and more. Tickets for the dates are on sale now at lissie.com. See below for complete tour details.

Written predominantly from Lissie’s farm in Northeast Iowa, Castles represents a new openness in her approach to songwriting and recording. Having moved out of the music industry machine and back to her native Midwest, the groundedness she found living and working on a farm ushered in a period of exploration. Castles is a portrait of an artist who has always been on the move and is finally creating a sense of permanency—a chance to catch her breath and reflect.

Lissie’s album My Wild West—the follow up to Catching a Tiger (2010) and Back to Forever (2013)—peaked at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and Top 10 on the Independent Album chart. Lissie also appeared in the most recent season of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks with NME saying of her “intense” performance: “Closing the episode with the Stevie Nicks-esque ‘Wild West,’ Rock Island’s most exciting troubadour more than earned her Lynch-commissioned screen time.”
