Marana in May

May 1 - May 31

Marana in May: The Best Spots for Birding, Bloom-Spotting, and Brunching With Mom!
Despite the news that we hit 100 on the very last day in April, May usually ends up being a really pleasant month in the weather department!  In fact, this week we’ll be back into the 80s!  Savor it while you can, get out early, and always carry your water. We recommend a few fun outings this month, including bloom-spotting on your favorite cactus, birdwatching and maybe brunch for Mother’s Day!

By the way, we want to make sure you’re getting the stories you want to see in this newsletter! Click here to take our quick survey. Thanks in advance and have a wonderful month of May!

Explore one of the best birding hotspots in all of Southern Arizona, during one of the most active bird migration seasons!
Plan the perfect day to celebrate your mom! Mother’s Day 2023 is May 14th, and Marana has many ways to spoil her with unique gifts and experiences!
The last of the wildflowers to bloom, the majestic saguaro cacti the region is famous for blossom and bloom with incredible white flowers throughout the month of May!
The largest cactus forest in the US, striking sunsets, and awe-inspiring landscapes, all in Marana’s backyard!
