MARK PRESTON & MICHELLE MURLIN

Sunday, April 7, 2019 @ 9:00 pm - 11:30 pm MST

MARK PRESTON & MICHELLE MURLIN TO PERFORM AT THE MONSOON NIGHTCLUB ON APRIL 27

Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment welcomes Mark Preston and Michelle Murlin to the Monsoon Nightclub on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Tickets are $15 and are currently on sale. Tickets can be purchased through Star Tickets and at Desert Diamond Casino’s Rewards Center. Doors open at 9 p.m.; show starts shortly thereafter.

Accompanied on stage by a symphony orchestra or just a trio, from Las Vegas, to the Philippines or Europe, to the world’s largest cruise ships, Mark Preston has performed thousands of shows in theaters all around the world, truly earning him the title “International Entertainer.” Along with a lengthy and very successful solo career, Mark’s unique talent preceded him again, and he was asked on two separate occasions to join the world famous recording group – The Lettermen. On each occasion, Mark accepted, and he performed for a total of 11 years with the group. During that time, Mark recorded several albums and CDs. Inducted into the Las Vegas Fans Entertainment Hall Of Fame in 2011, he has been seen on YouTube by over 5.6 million viewers. His shows combine almost every type of music, from Pop, to Broadway, to Country, as well as plenty of humor. Whether he’s singing “My Way” or “Friends In Low Places,” Mark Preston delivers his songs with a showmanship and ease rarely seen on stage.

A versatile performer, Michelle Murlin has had an exciting career. A singer, dancer, and actress, she has appeared in several Broadway shows, including “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “Les Miserables,” and “Cats.” Murlin’s singing voice has been heard on feature films, commercials, TV documentaries, and even some popular radio stations, singing lead for the BMG recording artists, “FEM 2 FEM.” Murlin’s solo cabaret act features some impersonations of the stars she admires most, such as Judy Garland and Marilyn Monroe. Murlin’s vocal abilities seem almost limitless, and her musical selections include styles that relate to everyone: Broadway, swing, jazz, pop, and Latin rhythms. She truly uses her “eclectic” abilities in an evening of performance where singing, dancing, and comedy are at their fullest.

Treena Parvello, Director of Public Relations and Communications for the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise, said, “Don’t miss out on the musical performances of Michelle Murlin and Mark Preston at the Monsoon Nightclub! Tickets are now available for only $15!”
