Special Event! Meet Doolittle Raider Lt. Col. (Ret.) Richard E. Cole on Wednesday – May 17, 2017, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Richard E. Cole, the sole surviving member of the Doolittle Raiders at 101 years of age will be visiting the Planes of Fame Air Museum for a historic special event. With the purchase of a signed book $40, a signed B-25 litho print for $20, or both, you will receive FREE entrance to the Planes of Fame Air Museum and a special photo opportunity with Lt. Col. (Ret.) Richard E. Cole! All proceeds from book and print will be donated to the General James H. Doolittle Scholarship Fund.
Wednesday May 17th 2017 Planes of Fame Air Museum will be open from 10 am to 9:00 pm. (some exhibits and aircraft will not be available after 5pm.) 12:30 – 1:00 Lt. Col. (Ret.) Richard E. Cole presents Congressional Doolittle Raiders Medallion to Planes of Fame Air Museum. 1:00 – 3:30 Take a photo with Lt. Col. (Ret.) Richard E. Cole ( Must purchase book, print or both for photo opp.) 4:00 PM North American B-25 Mitchell ‘Pacific Princess’ will provide a Flight Demonstration over the Museum with the possibility of Doolittle Raider Lt. Col. (Ret.) Richard E. Cole as Co-pilot! 6:00 – 8:30 PM Take a photo with Lt. Col. (Ret.) Richard E. Cole ( Must purchase book, print or both for photo opp.) Please bring check or cash for Book and Litho. Schedule subject to change.
