ROADKILL’s popular drag racing event, Roadkill Zip-Tie Drags, returns! Leading the two-day activities are David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan, hosts of Roadkill, the hit show that delivers a one-of-a-kind taste of “Automotive Chaos Theory” on the MotorTrend App and MotorTrend network. Tucson Dragway in Tucson, Arizona | Friday and Saturday, January 18-19, 2019. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 18, and at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19.

A cruise to Tucson will depart from Irwindale Speedway in Irwindale, California, on Friday, January 18 at 8 a.m. Gates open to the public at 6:30 a.m. and free donuts and coffee will be served. Once in Tucson, starting on Friday January 18 at 3:30 p.m. at Tucson Dragway, auto enthusiasts can join fellow Roadkill fans and Freiburger and Finnegan for overnight tent and RV camping at the track, with bonus drag racing, Roadkill bonfires, and complimentary s’mores.

On Saturday, January 19 beginning at 7:00 a.m., drag racers can test their skills with the chance to race against a Roadkill star vehicle driven by the show’s hosts. Participants and spectators will also enjoy a car show, swap meet, awards show, food trucks, and much more throughout the day!

The Roadkill Zip-Tie Drags event in Tucson will include, among other highlights:

• Hooptie Challenge—Roadkill stars will judge race cars purchased and built for under $3,000!
