Sip & Swirl at Grapes to Glass: Maynards Market & Kitchen’s
The inaugural event hosts local artists and local wineries from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 12 at Maynards Market & Kitchen located in the historic train depot. Tickets include eight samples of wine, a commemorative wine glass guests will actually want to keep, a wine yoke, and snacks for only $35 a ticket, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Local First Arizona. Knowing that bread is a perfect palate cleanser Maynards has invited Village Bakehouse Breads and Alfonso Olive Oil to host the Artisanal Bread Bar.
Guests will also get a sneak peak of Maynards’ second edition private label wine, AZ Red Malbec Blend at the festival and if they are Maynards Wine Club Members they can take advantage of the special offer Friday, September 11 at their wine tasting. The Sonoran Glass School is on-site for the festival crafting wine glasses with their G.O.A.T (glassworking on a trailer). Get inspired by Creative Juices as they will be hosting a wine painting bar where guests can customize their wine glasses and local artists such as Danny Martin and Bobby Long will be present, selling their screen prints and other designs.
