St. Patricks Day at Hotel Congress

Hotel Congress is going big this year for their annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. Featuring a holiday menu at The Cup Café, dance night at Club Congress, and their Great Guinness Toast! Drink sponsors have also provided amazing prizes for the hotel’s St. Patrick’s Day raffles.
Chef Anthony Coluci has prepared traditional Irish dishes available at The Cup Café to be featured only on St. Patrick’s Day. Starting at 11a.m. you can order the House-Cured Corned Beef and Cabbage, with boiled potatoes, carrots, and violet mustard sauce. The dinner feature is a Cast Iron Shepherd’s Pie: minced lamb stewed in Guinness, with onions, carrots, mashed potatoes, lamb stock, and Irish cheddar cheese. The dinner option will be available after 5p.m. along with Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes: Guinness cupcakes with Jameson mousse and Bailey’s frosting. Enjoy live music on the plaza starting at 6p.m..
Club Congress comes alive with DJs Bob Really and Andrew Shuta for Opti Club dance night. Get in free with green clothing or your Opti Club card; otherwise, the cover is only $3! Pints of Guinness will be $4 all day long, with pints of Harp, and shots of Jameson and Powers on special for $4, once club doors open at 8 p.m. Stick around until 10p.m. for the Great Guinness Toast MCed by the one and only toast master, Harold Garland.
