Roberto Cacciapaglia performs his own compositions in the most prestigious theatres and institutions in Italy and throughout the world. His recent tour in Russia included concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg, which received an extraordinary reception by the Russian public. Cacciapaglia followed with concerts in Barcelona, Bratislava, Ankara Piano Festival and Istanbul, where he also taught several seminars and workshops at the Turkish Music State Conservatory.
Roberto Cacciapaglia was born in Milan and graduated in composition from the ³Giuseppe Verdi² Conservatory, where he also studied conducting and electronic music. As a composer and pianist, he is a key protagonist on the international scene of the most innovative music, his compositions blending electronic experimental music with the classical tradition. For many years he has been researching the powers of sound, leading towards a music beyond frontiers expressed through deep emotional contact.
Roberto Cacciapaglia is a frequent guest of ³La Milanesiana² by Elisabetta Sgarbi, and has performed several concerts, including a concert with the Nobel Prize for Literature winner Derek Walcott and ³Mente Radiosa², composed for the evening with Rita Levi Montalcini, winner of the Nobel Prize for Medicine. One ofRoberto Cacciapaglia¹s best known works, ³Tree Of Life², was released by Believe Digital and went straight to number one on the iTunes classical music charts, where it stayed at the top for many months. It was performed in concert with the Milan La Scala Theatre Academy Orchestra at the Open Air Theatre to celebrate EXPO 2015.
Roberto Cacciapaglia also founded the Educational Music Academy with the aim of giving a voice to young musical talents, composers & performers, pianists & musicians with the goal of helping shape to their projects to achieve professional mastery.
