TUCSON COMIC-CON PARTNERING UP WITH DIAMOND CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL AND MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION FOR THE 3RD YEAR IN A ROW.
Tucson Comic-Con welcomes Tucson’s young patients to a unique convention experience once again. For the third year in a row, Tucson Comic-Con has issued special invites to pediatric patients at Diamond Children’s Hospital, Tucson Medical Center, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation for a special event one hour before the doors to comic con open to the public. They will be welcomed with a specialized fun-filled experience. This event will take place on Saturday, November 4th from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
What the young attendees can expect during their special time at Tucson Comic Con is a private tour of the Heroes Corridor costuming floor, gift bags filled with merchandise donated by Fantasy Comics, Charlie’s Comics, and Heroes and Villains, plus free weekend admission!
This year, Tucson Comic-Con has donated tickets, and offered early entry into the convention, and a personalized experience for children who receive regular treatments at the hospital and their families. 20 full weekend passes are also being donated to the Child Life Advocates. They will also gain early entry into the con. They will have the opportunity to spend quality time with Arizona’s professional costume groups on the first floor of the convention hall for pictures, face painting, and more! They will have VIP access to superheroes, Star Wars characters, Halo Spartans, and many more all before the general public! Tucson Comic-Con is honored to be the first convention in Arizona to provide such an experience.
