VERO EXCLUSIVELY STREAMED CELEBRATION AND PERFORMANCES OF TYLER COLE AND WILLOW SMITH TO ITS CREATIVE COMMUNITY
Tyler Cole is an artist, musician, filmmaker, and actor who believes in the power of art to change the world. Tyler recently completed work on a new Netflix series and his directorial feature debut – a work of creative non-fiction, “The Father Complex” which debuted earlier in the evening with a screening and culminated in a celebration of friends in Hollywood presented by VERO who streamed the nights performances on its social platform .
Tyler has released two albums independently – “Stranger” & “We’re in Love & The World is Ending” – along with recent single. “1000%”. As a member of the MSFTSrep collective of artists and innovators with Jaden, Willow and Teo, he is constantly collaborating with some of the most brilliant young creators around the world which opened the door to an organic partnership with VERO.
Tyler told the crowd, “I am so grateful for my family, my team, to VERO for helping me with this event and streaming the music! This night is incredible!”
VERO recognizes the contribution artists and creators make to building communities online and is proud to support a wide range of emerging artists, filmmakers and storytellers who are looking to connect more meaningfully with their community online and in the real world. The antidote to the data-driven social networks, VERO believes in creating a better social environment online. VERO is free from the ads, algorithms, sponsored posts and data mining which gets in the way of the core function of social networks – to connect and share with the people in our lives and the artists, thinkers and public figures that VERO is interested in.
“VERO offers an authentic social experience online, enabling new collaborations, discoveries and friendships for those of us who believe in the importance of fostering true community. Tyler is a hugely talented artist and we are excited to welcome him to VERO,” said Ayman Hariri, Vero Co-founder & CEO .
The event had everything it needed to make it one of the hottest events of BET weekend, including a unique venue at Neuehouse Hollywood, over 20 core social influencers who came to support Tyler, Willow, MSFTSrep and the VERO platform. Celebrities such as Jaden Smith, Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui, Christina Milian, and Logan Paul soaked in the performances.
Marketing consultant George Hughs has been consulting with VERO for two years and also worked closely with Omarr Rambert, artistic director to the Smith Family and co founder of MSFTSrep, “whilst working with everyone involved the synergy became obvious that Tyler, Omarr, and VERO had similar values for what true social networking should be about.”
Tyler performed first and incited a mosh pit of fans dancing and singing to his music and finishing with accolades from all. Cole was followed by Willow Smith with the debut of her new- all-girl band along with some new music. Jaden Smith, Teo and other MSFTSrep members looked on and posed for photo ops showing the support for artistry and each other.
“Our goal as a next-gen social network is to build and support a community of creators, giving them a space to connect and collaborate without the algorithms and data-driven practices that hinder creativity and put obstacles in the way of genuine connection between artist and fan. Tyler Cole is a rare talent we are excited to support. He gets us and our values because he shares them too and we are thrilled that he’s come onboard as a VERO Ambassador. Big things on the horizon!” Jamie Jessup, VERO Partnership Director.
