June, 2011 Beginners is a comedy/drama about a man, Oliver (Ewan McGregor) who meets Anna (Mélanie Laurent) only months after his father Hal (Christopher Plummer) has passed away. This new love floods Oliver with memories of his father who – following 44 years of marriage – came out of the closet at age 75 to live a full, energized, and wonderfully tumultuous gay life. BEAUTIFUL BOY - A Parents' Nightmare is a compelling tale about the heartbreak of a mother and father who have to cope with a tragedy that's bigger than the both of them. It takes us step by tortured step through the aftermath of what happened after their 19- year-old son took two loaded pistols to his English lesson, blasted his classmates to death and then turned the gun on himself. Opens in US on June 3, 2011. The Last Mountain- - A Hidden Mining Disaster opens in the US on June 3. Mountain Top Removal is a system by which mountains are decapitated with explosives so they can be mined for coal. In the process of achieving their objectives Massey Energy have now destroyed five hundred mountains, decimated one million acres of forest and buried two thousand miles of streams. As a result, the inhabitants of Appalachia are forced to breathe in polluted air, drink radioactive water and sleep in toxic dust. This documentary tells the story of how these people have risen up to fight for their families, their heritage and the future of America. They have been joined in their battle by Robert F. Kennedy Jr, whose commitment to their cause is unfaltering. June 10, 2011 Project Nim is the story of the chimpanzee who in the 1970s became the focus of a landmark experiment which aimed to show that an ape could learn to communicate with language if raised and nurtured like a human child. Roadside Attractions. June 17, 2011 Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Peter Sarsgaard. The Art of Getting By is a story about an 18 year-old boy who doesn't want to do his homework and doesn't know what he wants to paint in his art class. Stakes don't get much lower than this and it's as crashingly boring as it sounds, with a lack-luster plot making its meandering way from one pointless moment to the next. Opens in Italy: 15 July 2011; Germany: 27 October 2011. June 24, 2011 Bad Teacher is Diaz who dazzles as the Bad Teacher in this otherwise barely entertaining piece that tries so hard to shock it suffers from exhaustion long before the final curtain falls. None of the characters fully engage the audience and, with hardly a LOL moment, this film is destined for an early appearance on the DVD 'Coming Soon' list. Opens June 17 in Ireland; June 23 in Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal; June 24: Canada, Finland, Iceland, Norway; opens in Sweden on June 25. Cars 2 returns with star racecar Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix, Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage. Midnight in Paris. This is yet another Woody Allen film with a lead character who is a writer struggling to write. It's a lot better than anything he's produced for years, but there's none of the old genius in sight and no sign of the enigmatic characters he now seems unable to create. The Brits were the first to open their cheque books to Woody Allen, but now it appears his films can't even get released there. In 2nd-Century Britain, two men – master  and slave – venture beyond the edge of the known world on a dangerous and obsessive quest that will push them beyond the boundaries of loyalty and betrayal, friendship and hatred, deceit and heroism…The Roman epic adventure “The Eagle” is based on the classic novel. Rome's 5,000-strong Ninth Legion army march to Caledonia (today's Scotland), under the command of Flavius Aquila, bearing the golden Eagle of the Ninth, their company emblem. All 5,000 men disappear without trace. Focus Picutrres. Rated PG-13.  The Roommate - A Psychological Shoot Out. Sara (Minka Kelly) is a freshman at a Los Angeles college and is allocated a room with Rebecca (Leighton Meester). Sara quickly makes new friends but Rebecca remains aloof to everyone apart from Sara. The friendship of the two develops until Rebecca's behavior begins to make Sara uncomfortable and she realizes Rebecca isn't the person she originally thought. Opens in Netherlands: 5 May 2011.
 Hall Pass, a comedy from Warner Bros. Rick (Owen Wilson) is married to Magee (Jenna Fischer) and they have three children. Their closest friends are Fred (Jason Sudeikis) and his wife Grace (Christina Applegate).
Magee overhears Rick and Fred fantasize about who they'd like to have an affair with and decides this is something she should discuss with Grace. Dr Lucy (Joy Behar) is present during their conversation and suggests they give their husbands a 7-day Hall Pass, which means they can have a week off from their marriage.  Bridesmaids stars Kristen Wiig (from Saturday Night Live!) who leads the cast as Annie, a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph- also from SNL), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to matrimony.
