Theatrical fashion show to benefit Arizona Theatre Company’s educational programs
The Arizona Theatre Company (ATC)
Associates, ATC’s volunteer organization, announces the second annual
Dudes, Dolls and Divas fashion show in Tucson.
Dudes, Dolls and Divas is a theatrical
fashion show featuring haute couture and dramatic costumes from past ATC
productions and Mills Touché. This lively and elegant fundraiser will
take place on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 5 PM in the courtyard of the
Temple of Music and Art, 330 S. Scott Avenue in downtown Tucson.
Dudes, Dolls and Divas is chaired by Dr. Mary Jo Ghory. Jennie
Grabel and Blake Rogers, morning show hosts for 92.9 The Mountain, will
serve as the Masters of Ceremonies.
This season's models include Tucson Business Edge 40 Under 40
winners from 2005, 2006 and 2007, including Julie Wolfe Beadle, Senior
Director, Resource Development & Young Leaders Society for United
Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona; Carrie Brennan, Principal of City
High School; Michael R. Cleveland, Group Remarketing Manager for
Enterprise Rent-A-Car; Chris Edwards, owner of Tucson Appliance Co.;
Holly Ford, Area Marketing Manager of Cricket Communications; Yvonney
Huth, Assistant Vice President of Citi; Edmund Marquez, owner of Edmund
Marquez Suzuki; Steven Moeckel, Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s
Concertmaster; Page W. Repp Jr., owner of Repp Enterprises; and Kim
Roseman owner of Karin Newby Gallery and Sculpture Garden.
Other models include six of the 2007 Debutantes and one Escort,
presented by the Tucson Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. They are
Alesia Nicole Ash, a junior at Buena High School, Sierra Vista; Deanna
Reyna Barrett, a senior at Ironwood Ridge High School, Oro Valley;
Simone Adrienne Collins, a junior at Canyon Del Oro High School; Desireé
Brionne Dillard, a junior at Ironwood Ridge High School, Oro Valley;
Selena Andrea Gooden, a junior at Sabino High School; Brenna Nicole
Trice, a sophomore at Tucson High Magnet School; and Derek Lane, Escort.

The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit
corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of 12,000
professional women of color in 273 chapters located in 42 states, the
District of Columbia and three foreign countries: the Republics of
Germany and South Africa and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. It is one
of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of
extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and
ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and
other persons of African ancestry.

Blue House Catering will offer a delectable array of hors d’oeuvres. Wine will be served.
The ATC Associates' mission is to engage its members in the
life of the theatre; to fully support ATC's productions, programs and
fiscal stability; and to help raise awareness of ATC throughout the
community.
Tickets for this semi-formal event are $75 ($50 is tax
deductible) each. Table and event sponsorships range from $450 to
$1,500. All proceeds benefit Arizona Theatre Company’s education and
