The closure of the Entertainment Book leaves many coupon book customers in limbo.

The Entertainment coupon book used to be sold through many retail outlets and local offices. Local organizations also used to sell coupon books in some cities. But, the company set its focus on online sales through its web site over the past years and closed many offices.
Problems with the Company's financial stability has been reported recently, even though the new mobile version of the Entertainment Book was launched in January. But the company had been deep in red ink for many years. The owners of the company were also in a dispute which probably lead to the bankruptcy filing.
In a letter to the state of Michigan, the company notified authorities of the "permanent mass layoff" and impending bankruptcy filing. There 667 people out of a job because of the decision.
