People from all over Southern Arizona honored the 100th anniversary of the passing of William "Buffalo Bill" Cody– the great 20th century entertainer and Oracle, Arizona mine owner.

The 2nd Annual Cody Days was held on Saturday and Sunday, February 25 & 26, 2017 at the Oracle Inn in Oracle, north of Tucson from 1-5pm both days.

Come to Oracle and learn the history rapidly being lost! Most people do not even know Cody was even in Oracle! Buffalo Bill’s last performance was playing Santa Clause for the orphans of Oracle in 1916. A Washington newspaper reported in 1911 rumors of him running for senator of Arizona.

A national Buffalo Bill Cody look alike will provide a performance of Cody’s adventure filled life. Authors of Cody publications will be available for book signing and provide interesting details about Cody. Learn of the plans for a new museum and view a special exhibit with factual evidence of Tucson’s and the West’s largest legendary gold mystery!!!

This is your chance to help preserve the future generations chance to learn the part the largest icon of the 19th century played in our development otherwise this epic part of history will be lost forever!!!!!

Treasure hunt for kids, antique coins donated by Tucson Coin and Autograph, jewelry made from the gold and silver from Buffalo Bills mines in the Santa Catalinas will be door prizes and awarded for best contributions to the preservation of the local legend.

Cody Days is founded by Flint Carter, president of the Santa Catalina Historic Preservation, part of a non-profit 503c organization. All donations are tax deductible.
