Florida Timeshare ownership presentations replaced by vacation packages

With the downturn in the economy, almost all of the FL timeshare vacation promotions have dried up. In its place, vacation packages are being promoted as a way to fill empty rooms. Time share companies like Wyndham, Marriott, Hyatt and Hilton used to package a weekend vacation deal at little or no cost in exchange for a commitment to listen to a high pressure sales pitch.

Instead, the soft sale - vacation package- is a more palatable way to promote their properties without the timeshare presentation requirement.

Disney Vacation Packages are a better bargain

While the real estate market continues it recovery, companies like Southwest Airlines Vacations, a division of the air carrier Southwest Airlines, bundles its own flights and cuts a deal with Disney World Resort and other hotels to provide a package rate. Car rental services, and other theme activities can be incorporated into the vacation package as well.

Disneyworld timeshare promotions may eventually continue later in 2009 or 2010.

A time share in Florida may eventually be a good real estate investment

Instead of purchasing a time share in Orlando, Miami or Dayton, Florida, take advantage of a discounted vacation package.

For a discounted price, take a vacation to either place. You are under no obligation to purchase a timeshare. For a cheap Florida vacation, this is a good way to go until the economy recovers and housing and investment property values begin to increase again.
