Entertainment Magazine On Line has completed its first year on the World Wide Web, making it one of Arizona's longest publishing newspapers on the Internet.
The publication contains several hundred web pages with music, feature articles, photo tours, events and other community information, all which is updated daily.
More than 5,000 "hits" to the magazine's web pages are registered every week from Tucson and beyond. Commercial sites on line with the publication include The Tack Room, El Adobe Cafe, Delta Slider Blues Bottleneck, Vasile Hair Salon and Home Delivery Plus.
The publication's noncommercial web sites include the Arizona Historical Society, Tucson Convention Center, Tucson Botanical Gardens, Tucson Arts District, Tucson Parks and Recreation, and events from Tucson Metropolitan Visitors and Convention Bureau and the Arizona Office of Tourism.
Entertainment Magazine On-Line is produced through SAI, Inc., a nonprofit organization that aids in establishing a presence on the Internet for other nonprofit groups. The publisher is Robert Zucker, an Internet and publishing professor at the University of Arizona Department of Journalism.
