The iPhone Battery Life Chart

Apple has released the life expectancy of the iPhone battery between charges. The final June 2007 results show a marked improvement in extended battery time since its first announcement in January 2007.

Talk time battery life has been increased by 3 more hours to give the user up ro 5 hours of voice calls. The iPhone has about 250 hours of standby time.

Using the iPhone only for Internet browsing provdes up to 6 hours of battery time between charges- up one hour from previous estimates.

Video and audio playback on the iPhone has also increased to 7 and 24 hours, respectively.

Not all iPhone will get the same results, though. Factors, such as network configurations, may burn up more of the battery power than anticipated. But, Apple offers a comparison chart to show how it stacks up against the major competitors.
