The 74th Annual Fiesta de los Vaqueros is just around the corner, Feb 24-28, so mosey over to Entertainment Magazine Online's Rodeo Web page.
The page provides all the relevant dates, times, prices and events for the rodeo parade and competitions.
There's also a guide on "how to speak rodeo." For the record: a "buckaroo" is a cowboy who does ranch work, and a "hooey" is a half-hitch knot. According to this glossary, a "tenderfoot" is "what you are if you did not know the meaning of these words."
Don't feel bad, fellow tenderfoots. We all have to learn our buckaroo from our hooey sometimes.
